I'm Sonia — a mother, holistic esthetician, and postpartum doula based in Sonoma County, where I was born and where I've returned after 20 years in Oakland. I created Soft Space because I believe rest is revolutionary. Healing and restoration aren't indulgences, but what sustain us as we show up for the things that matter: our families, our communities and ourselves.

I believe rest isn't just personal, it's collective. It's part of the work of abolishing ICE, of decolonization, of the rematriation of land. We care for ourselves so we can care for each other and the people who need us.
